Liquor Raffle License
Rich Kennedy and Chuck Butterfield have been in Olympia working on Senate Bill #6465. This bill, if passed, will increase the limit on the Liquor Raffle License. They have been working with Senator Janea Holmquist Newbry and are happy to announce that the bill has passed out of committee. They now need you to call your Senator/Representative and urge them to support this bill. You can locate the phone number for your Legislator by going to the Washington State Legislative Website. You can use the hotline but they want to urge you to use the direct line to each Legislator as it will carry a little more influence.
Zone Conference
The West Side Zone Conference will be held on March 17 at Aberdeen #24. Local secretaries should have copy of the information packet.
Hands Across The Border
The annual International Night and Hands Across The Border will be held March 9 and 10 in Centralia and Chehalis. Local secretaries should have more information.
