Merciful God,

We praise you because you know everything, see everything, and remember us. Thank you that we can depend on your presence with us in every season and situation, that each time has purpose and meaning. We are grateful that each season is orchestrated by you, even the harder ones. Please help us to see your hand and guidance in our lives as we go through changes, the highs, and the lows. May we grow in trust and persevere in the valleys. How great you are, oh God, for being so intentional in caring for us in every season. Even when things seem glum, your light continues to shine on us in mercy and grace.

I just got word this morning that Brother Tim's mother passed away.  I am sure Brother Tim and Sister Sue could use some of our Washington Sunshine that we are good at providing.  I, for one, want to include big hugs with my sunshine to them.  So many of us know how hard it is to lose our mothers.  Those of you still have your moms hold them tight and love them as much as you can now because all you can do later is keep them in your hearts.

It is with deep pain that I have to share the news that our beloved State Grandma, Betty Brattain, has left our earth.  She was loved by so many of us.  I don’t think she could understand what she meant to all of us.  The name “Mrs. Doubtfire” will be something I will never forget.  She had a way of lighting up a room so hard to describe.

Brother Fred states there will be a celebration of life, but it will be down the road in time. That will be a time for all of us to get together, remember her,nd share all of the things she did to bring us laughter and smiles.

Remember Fred and Betty’s granddaughter, Ashley Sanders, is also one of the WA State Granddaughters.  Their daughter, Angela Sanders, and their other granddaughter, Emma Shriver, were also Eagles sisters.  You can send condolences to them to Fred’s address if you’d like.

With great sadness, I am passing this on and have been given permission to let our Eagle Family know that Marc Eisberner Seattle #1 PWP passed away yesterday evening Tuesday, September 13, 2022 after a brave fight fighting Cancer.
